Join us for a day of design training! We'll spend the day discussing the basic principles of design, covering print materials in the morning and web in the afternoon. Both sessions will be hands-on, so please bring your own device.You are welcome to attend both trainings, but please register for each session individually, because space is extremely limited. Lunch will not be provided. 

This session will focus on the basics of creating incredible web design. Attendees will learn basic web design using Wix. We’ll also hear from Gene Crawford, Managing Director for the Iron Yard Columbia and CoFounder of SOCO, A Coworking Community, who will present, “Principles of Designing for the Web”. This session will also cover typography, color selection and combinations, element placement, white space, and prototyping.
