Honoring South Carolina Veterans and their Legacies Exhibit

The SC State Library invites you to visit our new exhibit titled Honoring South Carolina Veterans and their Legacies.  The exhibit opens on Monday, November 6 and is available until November 30, 2017.

Join us as we recognize South Carolina’s rich military history and the significant military presence in our state today.  The military presence we have here impacts all South Carolinians, both economically and culturally, and shapes our communities.

This exhibit highlights our unique and diverse library collections, with displays including historical books, SC state documents, and military materials. It also showcases our state library staff and their personal military connections, as exhibit items include letters, diaries, photographs and more. It is an interesting reflection on our own family military legacies, representing various time periods as we honor our veterans.

Veterans Day is Saturday, November 11, 2017
