A+ Research with Discus - For Homeschool Parents and High School Homeschoolers (In-person at SC State Library)

Start off the new year with A+ resources for homeschool projects, assignments, and exam prep! 
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to search and retrieve textual information and multimedia resources from authoritative sources. You will also explore various tools for mind mapping, notetaking, and organizing your research on Google Drive. Participants will also learn about free PSAT, SAT, ACT, and AP practice exams. 

Homeschool parents, high school homeschoolers (Grades 9 - 12), and public library staff and librarians assisting homeschoolers may register to attend. Registration deadline is January 17, 2018. 

(NOTE: High school homeschool student must be registered separately from homeschool parent to assure adequate seating is provided. Homeschool parent or guardian must accompany homeschool student.)

Workshop check-in starts in the Coastal Room of the SC State Library, Friday, January 19th at 9:30 a.m. with workshop beginning promptly at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at 1:00 p.m.
