Basic Spanish for Library Staff: 6 Week Virtual Series

Do you want to brush up on your Spanish skills and practice phrases that are useful in a library environment? Join us for an interactive virtual series, led by Facilities and Access Consultant Caroline Smith along with guest facilitators from REFORMA de las Carolinas.
All experience levels are welcome.
Participants will:
- Learn library vocabulary and basic scripts
- Practice speaking Spanish
- Discuss cultural competency, outreach, and programming
- Learn about available resources
- Build confidence in using Spanish in the library--at any skill level
Attending each session in the series is recommended, but not required. Sessions will be recorded and shared privately with participants. Please join from a computer with a webcam and microphone enabled if possible.
