Event box

Join us at our next Speaker at the Center series on Wednesday, January 29th, at 4 p.m. for an in-depth look at the hobby of Ping-Pong with Carolina Pong President and Founder Tripp Roche, Boris Bolanos, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman, Jim Kornmeyer Treasurer, and Player Representative Bradley Anderson. The panel will discuss the return of the SC State Championships, as well as "the health benefits of playing table tennis, which many people have no idea about. Researchers say it’s the healthiest sport to play because it activates every part of your brain at once. Also, studies have been done for victims of Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s after playing table tennis. It showed that playing table tennis can improve balance, hand-eye coordination, mental well-being, and motor symptoms in people with those conditions."
