Library Speakers Consortium Info Session
Event box

Description:
Join us for this info session to learn about the Library Speakers Consortium (LSC) - a partnership of libraries working together to provide bestselling author talk programming to communities of all sizes! LSC livestreams 2-3 new bestselling-author talk events each month that include interactive Q&A sessions. Scheduled authors range in genre from novelists, memoirists, YA, and creative non-fiction writers to career advancement and professional development thought-leaders. The series offers a diverse mixture of perspectives, for example, half or more of the speakers are women and/or persons of color.
• Events stream live through a digital portal custom-branded with each library’s colors, logos, and photographs
• Patrons interact with the authors live-time by typing questions beneath their watch screens
• Live talks are recorded and remain archived on the microsite portal for future on-demand viewing
• Permission to have in-person event screenings onsite or offsite for both livestreamed or archived programs
• Platform captures engagement analytics including viewer name, email address, live-streamed views, as well as views of archived author talk recordings
