Expanding Access to Summer Meals at Libraries Across South Carolina
Event box

Description:
In partnership with No Kid Hungry South Carolina, the South Carolina State Library system is inviting you to join an insightful webinar on how libraries in South Carolina can reduce childhood hunger by serving summer meals using congregate and non-congregate meal distribution models.
This webinar is for libraries who are interested in learning about or expanding their existing summer meal programming. The ultimate goal is to provide and distribute healthy meals to youth who face food insecurity during the summer months so they can be ready to learn when they return in the new school year.
During the session, attendees will hear success stories from fellow SC Library staff in the field and gain insight from best practices that can strengthen your own program's summer feeding efforts.
We look forward to having you join us for this important discussion!
