Statement from the South Carolina State Library on COVID-19:
The South Carolina State Library has been monitoring the outbreak of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 (now pandemic) and is working closely with our partners and event organizers to help manage its impact on our library community statewide.
We have made the decision to postpone the School/Public Library Partnerships Summit on March 23rd, and any necessary refunds or rescheduling will be made at a later date. If you have any questions about a specific event coordinated by the South Carolina State Library, please contact Rebecca Antill.
In this challenging time, the fundamental guiding principle we have used, and will continue to use, is that we will follow the guidance and policies as established by the State of South Carolina. The South Carolina State Library encourages individuals to pay close attention to the SC DHEC COVID-19 website for additional updates and information.
The South Carolina State Library is excited to bring together school librarians, administrators, and public library staff to discuss existing partnerships across the state and how to strengthen collaborations in your district. Stephanie Rodriguez from the Nashville Public Library’s Limitless Libraries project, and Andrew Maxey from Tuscaloosa City Schools will be our special presenters for the day. Participants will also hear about existing collaborations from around the state, including Richland County with their ConnectEd project and Charleston County Public Library and Charleston County School District's expanding partnership.
Lunch will be provided.

Please include with payment a memo including the event title and the names of staff registered.
All registrations must be completed at least 5 business days before the event. We regret that we are not able to provide refunds. If you would like to cancel your seat and you meet the deadline indicated above, please contact the Continuing Education Consultant. You may send another staff person in your place, or receive a credit for a future CE event. Anyone who does not cancel prior to 5 business days before the event will be responsible for payment for the class.
