Discover the South Carolina State Library: Researching South Carolina Legislative Resources

Please join us on August 4, 2022 at noon for an overview of the State Library's extensive collection of South Carolina legislative resources. These print collections include current and historical South Carolina Code of Laws, Acts and Resolutions, and House and Senate Journals dating back to the early 19th and late 18th centuries. In this webinar, State Library staff will share information on:

  • an overview of state legislative resources available in the State Library's collection
  • examples of the types of information that can be found in them
  • demonstrations on how to conduct research using legislative resources
  • how patrons can access these resources
  • and some recommended online legislative resources from nearby libraries.

This webinar is great for researchers, educators, librarians, and anyone interested in diving a little deeper into the diverse collections and resources at the State Library. Please also join us for the next webinar in this Discover the South Carolina State Library series: Genealogy Resources at the State Library.
